    2) “he claimed he could not speak English” I mean I listened to his statement for sentencing and it’s obvious his English capabilities even 2 years later are not great. This is not an example of a “lie”
    4) Cuba’s political status is not relevant. If he’s originally from Cuba then that and not the lack of extradition treaty is the reason if he attempted to leave. Many countries won’t extradict their own citizens to other countries. During the Amanda Knox affair she bolted back fo the US after being released on bail pending an appeal and the position of many attorneys is we were never going to extradict her back to Italy.

    5) yes, he should’ve known, that’s an element of negligence. many people routinely get in trouble for not knowing things they should. So again this is an argument for his guilt for manslaughter, which I am not contesting
    6) I don’t think so. Not speaking English does not mean an illegal CDL. It’s wierd too because you just argued he can speak English and is thus a liar, but now argue he can’t and thus wasn’t validly licensed?

in any event, this is a regulatory offense and it appears many states actively issue licenses using tests in foreign languages, including Texas. It’s so low an offense it’s not even an OOS violation.

    9) there’s clearly panic is his driving. I don’t put any more significance than that into it.

    10) I don’t consider this an unprecedented wreck, just a year before 16 people were killed in a crash where a truck plowed into a bus in Canada killing a hockey team.
The driver got 8 years and under Canadian practice will likely be paroled long before that.

I hope everyone is enjoying their cultural enrichment and their demographic replacement that keeps getting harder and harder to ignore.

The emotional "thinkers" are regurgitating the same "man.. 110 years is too much etc" I asked a co-worker today that said that to me, how many he thought were fair... He said, 10 to 15 idk...

    I walked away.

Everyone is crying sympathy because of his background, and you know how the media loves to victimize the "minorities" and vilify the European descendants.

Fact is, the guy did not speak English, came from a third world country (Cuba), where he never drove anything past a bicycle or a 2stroke motorcycle, and got a CDL after just being here for a short time and not having the proper driving/road knowledge.

The US needs to repeal the 1965 immigration act.

There are hundreds of companies/drivers just like him on the roads, they are not the only ones. I am glad this is shedding a light on how bad things really are.

I am willing to assume you may not be familiar with your average Cuban/Hispanic way of doing things... Spend some time running I-10.. Pay special attention to trucks with Florida plates.

They (for the most part) want to always skirt the rules, and go about things in a cheap way and without a care for others.

Like I've said before, I am glad this is bringing light to the problems we have in this country thanks to the reality of having to deal with people from incompatible cultures who have no care, or love for the host nation and it's people.

I grew up with a lot of Cuban-American so I know these things and how they act/think. Start sticking up for your people/country, because, if you've been living under a rock, there's a lot of anti-American, specifically White American sentiment EVERYWHERE.

What were specific circumstances of that Canadian crash? How does it compare to this one, other than the high amount of casualties?

It is also another country, with very different laws. Remember Bill Clinton or Reagan passed a bill ensuring mandatory minimums. We do have a for profit prison system after all.

I am staying with the facts, and knowing how "my" people are and act, I never liked the guy from the beginning. I hate talking about this case.

I am neither happy or sad with the verdict, I originally thought he'd get life or like 45 years. I hope I never find myself in a similar situation or with a similar outcome. I just hope this serves as a warning to the pieces of excrement people that come here and do not acclimate to this country's way of doing things. This also go for the first cheap labor that was imported that unfortunately Lincoln did not send back and now we all have to suffer their eradic behavior.

Do the right thing or don't do it at all.

I hope the victims families get some closure, because they are not getting their loved ones back..

Look how they wanted to burry Kyle for simply defending himself...

The Georgia guys that were doing a lawful citizen arrest, were found guilty...

Aggressor if he is White or dares to defend themselves from commies/agitators

Where is the outrage for the Cuban trucker that was killed by a black guy in a road rage accident?

Trucker charged with murder in I-81 road rage shooting targeting a fellow truck driver

Victim if they're black/other... That is the country we live under.

Until you actually read and understand the previous posts you are just looking like a fool. The regulations have already been posted. If he can't read English there is no legal way to get a CDL. Period.
And it is an OOS violation, so you might want to look up something before pulling it out of your backside....
FMCSA Cracks Down on Language Requirements -- Occupational Health & Safety

Did he intentionally steer into 20+ parked vehicles? That's a huge issue people keep ignoring. He was found to intentionally assault 6 people and intended to assault 10 more. (6 counts of 1st degree assault and 10 counts of 1st degree attempt to assault)

Your own source is dated, and it acknowledges they weren’t putting people OOS for language, and as of 2019 people were not being placed out of service for it. The actual code does mandate it.

Furthermore, your statement that “there is no legal way to have a CDL if you don’t speak English” is false. The CDL is issued by state authorities. If it’s validly issued by the DMV it’s a valid CDL and is lawful unless the applicant committed fraud. The federal regulations only mean a driver can be cited for not speaking English. Again Texas offers the test in Spanish.

We are 1000 percent on the same page, my friend. So many self hating people. 1861 and 1965 sealed this country's fate as well as it's founding stock. If your roots are buried in European soil, you are hated in your own lands. Their hatred for us runs deep and goes all the way back to biblical times.

Anyone remember the CDL scandal back around 1999?
