Also, get all the endorsements while in school plus TWIC and a passport or passport card.
The passport or passport card is for loads going to Canada.

I used that to get my CDL in San Diego.
It is a great program for those that qualify.

It may still mean you have to go with a mega starting out, but you won't owe them anything.
