I would suggest in looking into a cheap diagnostics tool that helps you at least to clear your codes and see if they pop up again.
If I’m not mistaken and I could be wrong, I believe someone once told me after replacing the nox sensor something much be changed in the ecm.
can’t be sure but you need it diagnosed or cleared before you can see if it persists. -

I guess I am going to have to purchase another diagnostic tool.

Wrecker was a min of 400 to the closest Peterbilt Shop. I have a farm shop where the truck was sitting. Two hundred for OTR hardware and $50.00 a month after first year - buy in package was 800 on sale. 1st. Found dosser valve completely junked. Paid Cummings Parts 605.00-Peterbilt was 670.00. Replaced doeser, cleaned everything from firewall to muffler. Spent several day under truck and use the diagnostic tool may time -look for active alarms. All alarms cleared and I have been using the truck for its intended purpose. Truck not 100% "yet" is throwing a high temp exhaust alarm 990 degrees but resets with the OTR. With the OTR I can also look at live data and do resets. Peterbilt codes suck -Have not found a good conversion table. So my work has been look, clean, replace if visually bad-Test with OTR/reset. Look for conversion code-OTR has some in the software.
The truck has 355,000 miles (we just bought it after a cumming engine blew on another truck) so I am doing full service on the Peterbilt. Almost complete and have spent many dollars less the the bill would be in the big shop.Last edited: Dec 28, 2021
