Our sewer line does that too. I used a fish tape and fished a 100' heated wire for keeping gutters and evestroughs thawed into my septic line.
It's plugged into a timer 1 hour on/off all winter.
Has not frozen since.

I cut a fish tape the same length as the heated line, used heat shrink and zip ties to attach at the end. I slid the entire 100' into the line.
I just plug in in come December, and unplug in May. It is sold in various lengths. Way easier to install before it freezes..

In all honesty, the attention I enjoy is get'n the arm pump. Love blasting the horn for the kiddos. Got maybe a handful in ol Buck over the years, but Pinkys already mustered 3 in just ~11,500mi. Makes my day probably more than theirs.. lolFlint1, Swine hauler, Dadetrucking305 and 19 others Thank this.
