Carrying firearms in a truck

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6! I would rather take my chances in court over a justifiable shooting than become a victim, how do I "know" this you ask? Cause I have! Look back at my previous post as I don't feel like going into all the details again.

Far as Missing goes, not gonna say I never miss, but in my encounter with having to use my CCW every round I squeezed off landed in his chest. Funny I never took a 3 day course, just an 8 hr one. Only fired 25 rounds! Guess all them years squirrel hunting paid off with some marksmanship!



BTW I've said b4, I never spent a night in jail in fact never had my rights read to me.

You mention a CB argument leading to a shoot out, "Most" of us that carry 24/7 don't advertise the fact, other than the "I don't dial 911" stickers on our vehicles

 

Insurance is alot different..The amount of people who get into car accidents everyday versus the amount of drivers who get robbed everyday,would probably be pretty lop-sided

Shouldnt of said that last post, I apologize. Thank you for your service. Many people in this country are anti-gun. Your arguments against carrying a gun are echoed by many liberals, fortunately the constitution says I can carry, so opinions one way or the other are irrelevant.

Never said I was anit gun lol..I do agree that there should be steps and physic evaluations done on anyone that wants to get a ccw permit and plans to use it while on the road..I belong to a local rod and gun club..I bought a .22 rifle for my nephew this christmas..I am not currently driving,and would like to get a ccw..But no,I would not carry in a truck..I am sure just about every state would understand a truckdriver having a utility knife in his pocket though..If people are so scarred,they would be willing to open up on someone in a lot that could have 40+ innocent people around in their trucks cause they wanna get their wallet back,then no they shouldnt have a gun..And yes they should go to jail for hitting an innocent bystander...

 

Well, insurance is insurance and its usually there for a purpose, it don't matter how lop sided it is, it just matters that you have it and you are covered when and if the time arises.

 

Uhh no I'm not a "Driver". Driving a truck is what I do when grading is slow. Grew up with trucks & equipment. I can tell ya one thing, would rather be on a dozer or in a hoe ANY DAY vs drivin.

Don't feel manhood has anything to do with being armed & anyone that does shouldn't be armed! Did you join the service to prove your manhood?

I look at a gun as a tool, same as a shovel. Serves many purposes, feeds my family, recreation shooting with my two boys "that have more respect for firearms than alot of adults I've met" and last but not least protection of my family.

If it was worth my time I would post the Newspaper articles from Orlando about the carjacker who didn't get the wifes H2, but I have NOTHING to prove to an arragont kid. My proof is down the hall in their bedrooms all still breathing!

 

I believe drives should be aloud to carry pocket knives,stun guns,or mace anywhere they go,no matter who they drive for...We all know how much haz mat can be at any truckstop at any givin time..We also know some drives are not right in the head...And not everyone will know how they will react when the times comes..Sorry,I am not sold on drives carrying..There is to many variables,and to many innocent people at risk for everyone to just start shooting..

 

I signed up cause i felt it was the right thing to do...My family has done alot of serving..Shooting someone while in your car,dosnt qualify as taking a gun into a state in a cmv without a permit and shooting someone..
