I was at over $83K maybe a tad more for gross then another $10,000 grand for profit sharing and company weekly 401K match So those 2 things come in at a gross of about $93K. It's going to be interesting this month in about 2 weeks I'm switching to night transit (food companies don't have line haul, our equivalent is night shuttle or transit, but it's the same idea as far as the typical LTL pup stuff goes. Only our pups have refrigerators on them lol.) So I'll see what happens there, probably do about the same which is all I ask. I did do about $16-$17K in landscaping work on the side though so that ups my income a bit.

I'll be around $81K gross for 2021. But things are going to get even better this year.

After taxes and deductions, my net is around $48K. However, my wife got a new job in the middle of last year, with free (and dang good) insurance for her. It would be prohibitively expensive to put me on, so I've gone from Family to Single insurance, meaning my deductions are now a lot less. Also, a significant raise and a cost-of-living bump hit in late September/early October. I'm fairly confident that next year, not only will I hit six figures(if not, it'll be close), but I'll keep more out of those paychecks. And rumor has it that our January bonus will be the highest in company history.

    I'm looking forward to 2022!! :D

Screenshot_20220101-131518_Drive.jpg Check date 12-29-21, the $92,500 is my gross, the $68,669 is my net, no 6 figure club for me. View attachment 395108 Screenshot_20220101-130510_Drive.jpg

And I love the benefits, pay, culture, and everything here, but... ironically, I just took the job to be home every day. Lol I'd heard these guys were AWFUL to work for, but they were paid well to be home every day, so...suck it up, buttercup. Then I get in, and it's also really cool people? Wow. I found my forever home. Lol

LTL can be great. I just wish my old company had seen that we were more than meat to do the job non-stop until it broke down physically. That could've been a good place to work. I'd have like 11 years in. Lol

My goal this year is to try and stay on the same bid run for this new year just to see what it makes, as you guys know that's not always possible, a freight decrease or a change in run assignments on the board can always cause a bump to something else, these earnings were a result of having three different bids and sometime spent back on systems towards the end of my time in Arizona and my arrival to my new domicile in Nevada after transferring during 2021, not blaming Saia, it was my decision and that's just the way it works, I can say I did absolutely no extra work what so ever, these earnings were accomplished on five day work weeks and while I was on systems I didn't work some days, mainly because I really didn't feel like working and didn't contact central dispatch and they didn't call me, so overall not bad wages in my opinion, I probably could make more if I volunteered on weekends, maybe I will do that this year will see.
