Its quite clear some folks still don't know how to read and understand the English language after more than 200 years of it being instituted too! There is a big difference between what happened back in 1775, compared to a Government mandate asking people to get vaccinated. And what current state of affairs in Australia are you referring too? Yes there is always a choice however when a government enforces a rule what choice does a company have? That is why I said the boss or CEO may not have a choice how can they transport freight if there not allowed to enter a warehouse with out proof of Covid - vaccination? So yes the boss could refuse to enforce the regulation and the company could go broke that is a choice too ain't it?
So my boss gave me an ultimatum

What if you're a scientist who disagrees? Are you wrong then? Why do you have to be a scientist to disagree with science?
"Science is not truth. Science is finding the truth."
Okay, so while science is in the process of finding the truth, which means it currently has not found the truth, is it okay to disagree then?
"When science changes its opinion, it didn't lie to you. It learned more."
Okay, so science was wrong at first, and I was wrong for disagreeing, then. But now that it found the truth, can I disagree just in case it decides to change it's opinion again later? And while we're on that subject, is it okay to point out that science's opinions are often based benefiting the people that paid the most for a certain conclusion?
What I've learned from this top notch meme is that science is allowed to be wrong, it's allowed to change it's opinions, it's always searching for the answer, and during this whole process, I'm just supposed to blindly follow its current "opinion on the matter" without question. Sounds like a religion to me. Maybe the slogan should change from "Trust the Science" to "Have Faith in the Science".Opus, Bodella, Quackomatic 6000 and 8 others Thank this. -
