Engine mount on mbe4000 that's on the passenger side, on the flywheel housing, all the bolts snapped. The shop that is doing the work has my truck for over a week now i think they are lying to me for some reason or another... Does the transmission has to come off, and how many hours of labor am i looking at?

Trans probably has to come out. If it is the flywheel housing not the bell housing probably 15 to 20 hours. Removing broken bolts often runs into extra extra time. Are they housing and brackets still good?

Depends on the truck. Western Stars pretty much always have the rear mounts on the transmission bellhousing.

Freightliner columbia.
My bad. Bellhousing not flywheel.
Both are in good shape. Just needs bolts to be taken out and replaced. And then i asked for the top mount to be replaced as wellLast edited: Jan 17, 2022
