Trucking companies Caring about your health it’s almost laughable. They do not care about your health. As long as you can find a way to obtain that medical card to keep driving that’s all they care about. Sure some of them might put on a little dance routine every now and then acting like they care but they don’t. When I had Covid out on the road and was sick as a dog, I didn’t even so much is get a response message from my company. Lol literally nothing, total dead silence. I’m pretty sure there’s laws past about how they’re supposed to handle Covid. They don’t give a crap.
You have to care for your own self. They’re not going to help you -

Find another occupation, bring self driving trucks, this job is silent killer , bumpy roads, stress, vibrations, not enough or proper sleep, sleep in cab in summer heat or winter, carcinogen diesel fumes, mental health issues caused by isolation lack of social life.
Statistics About the Life Span for Truck Drivers in Question
As discussed above, the shorter life expectancy of truckers isn’t really in dispute. Although, the specific difference has been called into question a bit. Some statistics don’t support the 16-year variance. Others have put it at more like 10 to 15 years and some have put it all the way at 20 years. The bottom line is that while the actual difference may vary, most agree that the shorter life span risk for truck drivers is real and significant."
