Is it o.k. to agree with you that we should also look at eliminating it, to force wages to float with the local economy?

Your right- In economics there is a saying that when government first regulate price controls "(price) Floors become (price) Ceilings and (price) Ceilings become (price) Floors" and holds until the market dictates otherwise.

I retired back in 2007 when I sold my Business and I think the minimum wage was $8.25, I know the market wage was about $10 to $12. I paid my starting guys at $21, and this was the no BS wage. Meaning I would not have to put up with an employee's BS about working hard, being late or not wanting to work overtime on weekends if asked. Because I knew and they knew that they would hurt if we let them go and they would not get another job paying what we did. People knew we paid a lot, and we had a large pool of highly qualified applicants desperate to take their place. So, they worked their ### off for us and did not give us any BS to deal with.

So, there are basically three different wages Minimum, Market, and the No BS wage.

Dave does the back side of the home face North? and is the big side wall with the small window facing west? BTW, it's looking great.

I wanna know if all the trim screws on every electrical cover plate are installed with the flathead slot in the vertical position. These are the telltale signs of a true professional :D

I would go with phillips head screws, and they must make "X" not a cross.
