It’s 42” here. I was amazed how in Louisiana, in a relatives yard, you can dig with a spoon a few inches and hit water. Lol

My grandfather lives about 100 miles from me... He can dig 3 or 4 spades of dirt and hit the water table in the summer... In the winter it freezes harder than the back of your head.

There's good loads to the tundra. I told The OM.

She's like," It was 72 here today, right?"

    I was like," Yea."

And She's like," What's the temperature in the tundra?"

    And I was like," -9."

And she was like," F that."

These are the same Truckers who complain about not being paid for their time, yet continue to put up with it. They should be as concerned with their own situation. Can’t get oneself ahead, by tearing another down. Sounds like they’re jealous. Maybe they should have became Crane Operators. Maybe they should try to bargain for better pay. Typical Victim mentality. Everything wrong with their situation is someone else’s fault.

There’s a company hiring Local Drivers 6 miles from my house. Starting pay $29.42 hr. OT after 40 and available. I’m thinking hmmm. I’ll pass. How can I expect others to be happy with the crappy jobs with crappy pay that are out there. Nows a bit different. Excellent time to get a foothold on a normally hard job to get. I made my wife quit her Job. It was a sweat shop. The jobs available were all through temporary services and pay was $10-$12 tops. Sometimes less. That was 5 yrs ago. Truckers are making record pay right now. It will change, once they open the borders again to foreign Drivers. Pay will go down, just like it did in 2000, after going up for a few years.

Please explain. My well had a 20 gal. Tank, I replaced it with a 30gal. Those look like 2 50 gal. Tanks. Why? More reserve? Less pumping during dry spells? More pressure to make the trip? Why? Why? Inquiring minds (slightly damaged) need to know.
