these are the ones with no up front cost to you......
Swift, Stevens Transport, Central, and driver solutions......
There is alot more of companies that will sign you on but you have to obtain your cdl through an credible school .
Prime is also one of those schools with no up front cost but that for now has been scratched.
Do your research on all of them .
I for one have heard of problems with all of these but you never really know what happened unless you know someone who has been through it.

i was told yesterday that there is a $100 administration fee and $50 permit fee, which still seems very reasonable for so much training that is involved.
cactusjack Thanks this. -
sounds ridiculous to me.....
I can on the other hand see paying for permit and cdl fees at the motor vehicle office -
you are absolutely right jack...
cactusjack Thanks this. -
Are you saying that the company should give the training for free and then the student is free to go elsewhere with no commitment to the company that just gave them the training? Please clarify! -
cactusjack Thanks this.

I was talking about up front costs.......
money down.......
It should never cost anyone a dime to go to class if it is company sponsored....
Once you graduate and start working costs should be paid by the driver in incraments over time.....
but to go to school and to get to the facilities it should be paid for by said company !!!!!
