Running under someone elses authority with my box truck?

    Maintaining his vehicle was considered 'under dispatch' as it benefits the carrier, at least by legal precedent in NJ

    Hey quick question?I'm starting a trucking company,and I may have someone under my authority.do I have to have insurance as well?do they suppose to just use my insurance under my authority?or can they not use my insurance and just get their own?please let me know, thanks..

    Motor carriers have to register their insurance with the DOT [form E] for all operations under their authority. Your numbers, your insurance.
