If he lengthens his suspenders, it will cause his pants to ride lower.

Yes, but why? I'm trying to understand this on a deeper level.

I want to clarify something for the op.

When your original post includes your driving skills and/or knowledge. Or in this case. Lack of both. You have included you and your abilities into the subject. If you had not. It wouldn't be fair game to discuss.

So yes. Discussing valid concerns about the quality of skills/knowledge at your age of experience. Is valid and on topic. Because you put it in the conversation.

Gravity will pull the pants down until the suspenders overcome gravity and hold the pants up.

I asked about maneuvering a truck, which the main part of the curriculum at truck driving schools in which students spend 4-6 weeks learning how to drive a semi-truck. Maybe there should be suspender lengthening schools in which students should spend 4-6 weeks learning how to lengthen suspenders.

Re-read the OP. The OP does not mention how much experience i have driving a semi-truck. You have changed the topic away from the OP.

Partially correct. You interjected your experience into the conversation. Again. Once you did. It became a part of the topic and conversation.

You can take offense to it. But people have legitimate concerns about your skills.

I should not be the primary focus of this thread. A small digression is okay. I was not expecting everyone to focus so much on me. It is not your job to judge me.

We know that. Many of us look at it as a hobby.

Remember that part of being a CMV operator when you got your CDL? It says to protect the motoring public. So yes. Having concerns about the quality, knowledge and experience of a fellow CMV operator. Is very much all of our jobs. Assuming we take it seriously.

I personally have welcomed criticism and correction of my defects. It's how one grows.
