The official tender of employment was just offered and accepted. Whiz quiz and physical Monday morning. The bride is somewhat pleased. The gravy enhanced breakfast will continue.

I'd remove those empty pallets or floor a strip of 1 x 12 up close to the stack. Reason being; wife's feet being smaller and fitting boot, she might catch an ankle in the pallet slats and with 5 or 6 pieces of that wood hurt herself.. Just saying, may not need to..;)

Wise precaution. Fortunately the slats on those look pretty close together.

I don't know. These were built in a guys backyard in Western Oregon in the 80s. Tried to get Freightliner to buy in but not interested.

The wife and I both wear the same size boot... Lol. And yes the slats on those pallets are very close, that was a consideration when I picked them. My 3 year old can barely get his booted foot between them.

I did try pulling up the first row of pallets... But they are froze down pretty good. I want them to last many years so I chose to just leave them until it thaws enough to pull them up without tearing them apart.

I wish I had a bottle... Was suposed to get a bottle for x-mas from the wife, but more important expenses suddenly arose.

The truck has stopped 620.3 miles Southwest of where we started this morning.

We're only like 60 miles from the house, but only have 40 minutes left.
