Esker you have no idea what you are talking about! You are only trying to start something and trust me this is one thread you don't want to do that. I suggest you apolgize 4 your rude comment and leave our thread! I never thought I'd say that to anyone! But when you mess with Jess you mess with me and may the wrath ensue!
beboppinbigun1 Thanks this. -
Now I sleep fine when the truck is moving and there isn't one person on here who can say they slept like a baby the first few days in a truck when its moving or stopped with the reefer and APU going!
Thanks Widow!!
BTW Esker do you work for Central???? -
Okay...I really wasn't going to post anything...I was just going to let Widow be the board watch dog, but I actually have to thank you Esker. You made me laugh...and after the weather today...I needed that. You come in here, glance at Jess' post, and make the inference that you know anything...anything at all...and make a irrelevant one line comment. Then, as if that were not enough and you hadn't already shamed yourself and your entire lineage, you continue on to act like you know anything....again, anything at all...regarding Mikely's overweight situation. I could throw out innumerable possibilities as to his situation. However, since I was not there, I won't; and neither will anyone else on this board who is respectable because that's not what we're here for.
Continuing on, I glanced at your "blogs" and your blatant attack on, what you label, "super truckers" also gave me a chuckle. Because YOU feel weather conditions are too poor to drive the speed limit, everyone else is labeled a "super trucker?" Maybe, just maybe, you're a "lame trucker."
Again, thank you Esker. You made me laugh. -
Widow my thoughts and prayers are with you....hope everything works out ok for you. I keep waiting for that fall myself...The last time I did fall my pride was hurt and I broke my phone...I keep telling everyone I am going to move my bedroom in the living room so I don't have to traverse the steps.....lol

Did the MRI today will get the results tomorrow afternoon at the doctor's office. Hopefully it is just a fracture I was offered the job I interviewed for last week wanting me to start working on Thursday.
1bad is heading to Norcross in the morning hopefully he will be here long enough to take me to the doc tomorrow. That's all for now time to get things done around the house. I will check in later tonight! Be safe everyone! -

Seems like there are a lot of trucks being turned in at the Conley Yard, as all students will be going there to upgrade.
On a totally different note a very good friend and Central Lease Op was terminated recently after 5 years with the company, 1 accident and no service failures, he went in to do his defensive driving class everyone has to do after an accident and was told he was being let go, no warning, totally blindsided!!
All lease Ops who read this thread probably should go to the IRS website and download the Form SS-8, fill it out and send it to the IRS, they will decide if you are an Independent Contractor or an Employee, it is decided on a case to case basis.
The more forms they get, the harder they will look at the company!
IMHO we are employee's as we don't get to move freight for anyone else we can only haul for Central exclusively.
I will let you all know when I hear from the IRS, as I downloaded the forms and will be sending them in the morning!
