i was gonna say armed guards but i think thier drivers would overpower the guards

 

Kinda like prison where guards that actually have contact with inmates carry no weapons for that very reason.

 

I was about to head of to SLC for CRE next month. I'm not sure if this is the right move to go there for so called training. Any thoughts?

just need some guideance. Maybe I should back out and look elsewhere?

 

If you've read even a fraction of the posts in only this thread, that should be enough for you to start looking elsewhere. If you use the search and look for other threads, or check out other trucking message boards, it will leave no doubt in your mind. From everything I've read, I would tell you to run as fast as you can from CRE and find somewhere else to go. Check out the good companies forum here if you want a place to start.

I was directed by this forum to go to a community college or tech school which I did and I am just finishing next tuesday it has been 3 months with a week off for thanksgiving and 2 weeks off for xmas ,but I am certainly glad I saw this forum and took the advice ,because I applied for the student aid and had to pay nothing and dont have to pay anything back,plus the school trained me pretty good our instructor just celebrated 20 years as an instructor and rode all 6 of us pretty hard but all for good reason to help us be the best new drivers we can be and safe drivers for all concerned plus I talked to England early on but this forum set me straight ,about going with them would be like a 3 week long timeshare presentation for trucks ,good luck and see ya on da road
