Governor to transition “pandemic” to “endemic”. When do emergency powers end?


The Governor is making an “endemic plan” to replace his “pandemic plan” which has had debatable success and was done under seemingly endless “emergency authority”. Says Newsom: “We are working actively as I think I previewed to number of you on a endemic plan not a pandemic plan in the state. And I keep previewing because I am very enthusiastic about the progress we are making with this draft. In the next couple of weeks we will be releasing that endemic plan of how we live with the virus how we dress and live with the surges what we learned what protocols we encourage to be in place and how we believe we will process things moving forward”.


While calling for continued vigilance governor Newsome said California is seeing a drop of cases positive test rate hospital numbers and ICU admissions.
