Was my favorite type of work. But more a lifestyle than job. Hard on body and families.

Here’s a video of Rawze inspecting a used truck with 500k miles that an owner op just purchased. And you can see the damage done by extended oil change intervals.Skip to the 7:45 mark and if you want to just see the part where he talks about the damage.

This video shows how large fleet companies don’t take proper care of the trucks, thats for sure.

    White rice.

Yeah I actually did get it hot enough to melt some of the cheap rubber yesterday. It's just not got enough in it to compete with the windchill of 20 degrees plus 50mph.

Looked at a set of heated wipers that have a thermostat so they turn on and off as needed, and only if the truck is running. I suppose it senses that the alternator is charging and then turns on the heaters if it is and it's below 40 outside.

Automatic Heated Wiper Blade SystemDriver Side: 16" Blade / Pass. Side: 16" Blade

Again who knows if I'll need it or not ever again but I'll tell you these things staying covered in ice is what's keeping me from getting home tonight.

That's awesome. You gonna scale it on the way home? Super stoked for you. It's gonna be a good thing.

I did it for 1 season to help a buddy. Worked 70 from the tunnel to vail. It definitely takes a toll. You never know your hours. When someone calls, you gotta go.
