I had a great drive across the ITR this morning.

Nice and clear, bare asphalt most of the way to the Ohio line.

I drove back into the snowstorm in Ohio.

I needed fuel and food, figured Perrysburg Petro was the best option.

I-280 was slick as snot NB from the OHTPK.

Three of us truckers got off at exit 1, where all the truckstops are.

    First truck takes the left.
Second truck (Amazon) spins out on the hill.

    I'm the third truck.......

No one is behind me. I back up about 50 feet, engage the ial and get by him.

At the bottom of the hill, a Prime Contractor has spun out, along with some ####### in an SUV.

They push the SUV outta the way so we can make the left, which is ALSO slicker than snot.

Petro was two thirds full at 2pm. Can't see the spaces, but the parking looks about right. Some of these trucks have been here since yesterday.

I called dispatch to change drop to 1pm, and will re-evaluate in the morning.

Then I went in to get some chicken parm at the Iron Stomach.

Some old boys at the counter informed me that road conditions were like this all the way to Erie, PA, and that PA might close I-90 to CMV's. We'll see.

I am legally parked at a place with good food.

As long as I'm home by Tuesday, I'm good.

I think I'll sleep in a bit, check on conditions around 4 or 5am.

maybe 15 trucks in the weeds between Tucumcari and a little passed Santa Rosa. Remnants of a dozen more. Also a lot of breakdowns on that stretch.

Strange rules now in familiar places. Got to have proof of shots, or fresh test, or be turned away. Kind of like a "cover charge"

    That's just typical Cascadia life.

We hope he's wearing a mask.
