They have been a last resort for me for a few years now. Being a one truck operation I can find fuel much cheaper .

That could be. I guess I am not privy to that information. Knowing we received some type of discount at Love’s, T/A’s and Kwik Trips. Love’s being at $4.04 and the place across the street $3.57, I thought I was doing the right to call my general manager and ask him if they wanted me to fuel at the Love’s. I explained the situation and asked him what the discount was. He told he wasn’t sure, but if Kum & Go took ComData, to buy from them.

Ever want a good time? Just stop at that Love's in Shartlesville, PA. Exit 23 off I-78. Last time I was there the fuel line was backed up on to 78. Parking sucks there too.

Running local, we get all our fuel from a local outfit. Haven't fueled at a truck stop in over two years. And I don't miss it. They all sucked.

When I did run regional, I preferred the Peelot for fuel. Back then their rewards program was decent, and they still had showers free after 50 gallons. The outfit I drove for had fuel pumps at the yard where we got whatever we needed, and they had limits on how much fuel we could get at certain truck stops, and they were mostly all Peelots. It was their 'fuel optimization plan', and after I left they scrapped that plan. Then went bankrupt about three years later. P

Ok. The listed price. Is not what a company pays. So if you're not paying for the fuel and don't know the real price. Don't assume. I was contract and paying for my fuel. So I could see the rate.

Your job is to move the freight. Let the office worry about fuel costs.

the mifflinsville loves on i80 has to be a close second… add in the hill when you’re going back on the interstate eastbound. Plenty of times I’ve accidentally missed that fuel stop lol.

The few QTs I stop at don't have showers. Not that a lot of today's drivers would notice.

Only thing Loves is good for is a shower. Their parking almost always is set up stupid if you have anything but a short mega company truck with the tandems slid up to the landing gear.

cke, D.Tibbitt and jason6541 Thank this.
