Stock for now. I don't put that many miles on it to really worry about it. Coming from that 7.3........it's like night and day! I do want to put the cat filter conversion kit on it though. Prolly do that this summer. Yours modded? I might mod it in the future though.....never know.

Sure is. Some parts fell off about 50K miles ago. Darn those rough roads in PA. :biggrin_25520:

What’s funny is my mpg went up by about 30% right off the bat.

I know a couple of guys who did theirs and had all good things to say about it. Maybe if I get the time this next winter. I'm just super impressed with the truck. You have the aisin in yours? I'm pretty darned impressed there too. Only downside is the service intervals on it.

    My man!!
Far as I know they dumped the G56 for the '19 model year.. Bastages..

Some people give the G alot of flak. I think its more than alright..
Used to gross up to 36k lb with mine on the old '12 dually on the regular. It ate the dual mass flywheel at about 85k mile. South Bend clutch fixed me right up. Solid flywheel, & single disc organic towing clutch was perfect as I wasn't running over stock power..

Also I dumped the atf+4 immediately in favor of Mobile Delvac STF 50wt. Good stuff..

Right, 2018 was the last year you could get a manual trans in any full size truck. :biggrin_25510:

After that flywheel incident, how much of an issue did you have with gear rollover noise?
