Baxtor...don't let that hold you up. While the checks might not be high enough for a full gammut of bills...I was able to pay all of mine. Also, if you are unemployment right now...there's no reason for them to know quite yet you're employed. ;-)

A good driver would have put the scale ticket in the bill box along with the bills I go with the fact that the load was never scaled. If this was from Eden NC ? I haul to and from there for coors there r 2 cat scales in the area.

my girlfriend is the one who is completely freaking out about the bills, because currently since october she has been paying them on her minimum wage job and isn't sure she could do it all by herself with me gone for training. she really wants to ride with me afterward too. unfortunately no i have not been collecting unemployment because i got fired for not showing up on a day i requested off 2 months prior. oh well...i hope to get on the road soon enough

This is my 2nd week as a trainee. So far i am very happy with the company. Getting good miles? I would say yes. If any one willing to work they have the load. refusing a load just because short distance big mistake. because they will pay back with high miles if you dont refuse the short distance. We got 2 short distance load since i started my training with my trainer. one was 130 miles other was 250. but pay back was 2600 and 1880 miles. in 2 weeks we have totaled more than 8000 miles. of course company is a school company. so dont expect .40 cents a mile. thats why they are graduating so many students from their schools. they move on to high paid companies once they get exprienced .

i deal with steve on a daily basis as he is also a load planner on the kraft fleet he is straight forward and will bend over backwards to help you out a all around good guy. but this yogurt run is new to me i havent heard of this fleet yet. and yes i agree with chrome get your 6mo otr first experiance the country and the winter driving espicially out west you will need this if you ever want to run for another co.only thing i see is the2600 mile average dont sound right if your gonna be home that often it will probally no doubt be a lot less. also seeing the exact same roads day after day would get to me

You can't really count training miles as you are running teams not solo and you need 14500 miles to upgrade!

Some drivers are getting decent miles, it depends on your FM and the area you get sent, most trips down south are short runs and you don't want to get caught in that loop.

I see the main problem lately is short loads with way to much time on them, but no doubt you will see when you upgrade to solo.

I don't want to burst anyones bubble but lets see what your posting about miles in the next 6 months!
