New Orleans! My cousin and his wife thought it wise to marry close to Valentine’s Day. Don’t blame them that’s an easy date to remember for anniversary. I do like how they are setting it up tho timeline wise, kinda backwards. Friday is like the rehearsal dinner and reception, and then Saturday morning is a quick ceremony done and that’s it. So I’m gonna chuck rice at em hop in the car and boogie back Saturday afternoon.

You worry too much. Don't overthink it. I don't think there is anyone there to worry about. As long as you can be where you are supposed to be, when you say you will be there, they will leave you alone to do your job. I haven't talked to my DM in almost three weeks.

 

Should take the opportunity to hang out for the weekend. Party.

 

Don’t know him specifically but I haven’t heard anyone here say a single negative thing about anyone in the DM/Planning Group of folks so I’d put money on Joe being a good one.

as @zodiacflyer mentioned, just relax, focus on the load. Tell them your ETA (add a good cushion until you settle in) and hit your targets, and they will keep feeding you the plan.

Agreed, it doesn't matter who your DM is starting out here. If you can do your job and not need your handheld you can pretty much run yourself. No matter who it is you will need to feel each other out and establish a good working relationship. As long as you come in with a good attitude it shouldn't matter who you get. Give him a chance and if in a few weeks you aren't happy for some reason let ops know and they can make a change. But like the other guys said already quit overthinking everything! You are in a good place at a good company. Just relax and work your ### off, the rest will take care of itself. Welcome aboard!
