I would concur. I rarely do coils, but those steel edge protectors are a pia. I always knew there was a better way, now I know what it is.

I first saw those, and they were sitting fingers up on a deck, heel against the coil for practice loading. It was after hours, and I stared at that #### thing for the longest time trying to figure out why someone would pull chains through the coil, through those fingers and then secure them to the deck.The things that make you go hmmmmm...er...HUH?
When I first saw them I thought they were made of hard iron or something, why else would they be that away against a coil instead of inside it.

headed to the Bronx. You know it’s always thrilling when the company guy with the short unit that goes there all the time says “you're ####ed theres no way that truck n trailer will get down the alleyway they unload out of”
