FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Heading to Ellabell but they don’t receive over the weekend so taking the opportunity to swing by to visit my mother. She took a fall last week and we moved her to a place for Physical Therapy but she isn’t happy about it so hoping a visit from #1 Son will help. I’ll take a 34 there with her and have full clocks to get me home next weekend for some delayed hometime.

 

Ya, how did everything turn out? I assume your first load was back towards your home to stock up the truck.

I hope you are comfortable with tight docks and drop yards. If you are going where I think you are, it is pretty snug. Especially if there is another truck in the next dock. Drop yard isnt much better.

 

Ya, I’ve only been to one place in Rome. Learned my lesson the first time when my gps ran me right through town. That too was tight.

 

We need some thoughts and prayers for one of our Drivers.

They sent me from Ellabell to South Florida to rescue a load. Turns out the Driver made it home here in South Florida but is now in the hospital. Met his son who brought me the keys to the Truck so that I could swap trailers and complete the delivery.

The son didn’t give many details but surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and that will tell them more but it doesn’t sound good.

so ya, keep him in your thoughts and prayers especially for the surgery tomorrow. I’ll touch base with the son again after and update.
