One of my favorite loads at Abilene was a convention load out of Las Vegas. Communicated with my contact and kept her in the loop the whole way. She was a very nice lady.
Turns out she had been a customer of Abilene for like 40 years and was the President/Owner of her company…
and a very good friend of our big shot at the time.
Abilene’s Top Brass got a very nice email about my Customer Service and I got a pat on the back from the Big Guy directly.
The pat on the back was nice, I won’t lie, but the fact that she took the time to write her “old friend” gave me the warm fuzzies that I’ll take with me for some time.
not blowing my own horn,
just a find remembering.

Today is the one day of the year that I truly love our parent company called Knight/Swift Holdings Corp. They deposited the yearly match into my 401K. Tomorrow will be right back were it usually is.

That’s alright JB. Just start counting down your days to retirement.

Truck serviced, 2 new steer tires, new winter wiper blades, and the reason for the new steers along with 2 new rims, one of my rims had a hairline crack in it so the shop boss said new tires and rims. I check my lug nuts and rims everyday before I start my adventure, and this crack was not noticeable to the naked eye. I’m just glad it was noticed while in the shop and addressed. Have a 2 stopper, Spokane Washington and Prineville Oregon. Get to play in the snow this weekend in Montana and Idaho.
