Yeah,,we've ALL thought of a different career at some point, and 99% came back to trucking.. I think you will do okay, it's not like you are coming into trucking "cold quarter", you have a basic knowledge of the job, and that hasn't changed. It's still a good job, and heck, you may like it. When I had my union job and one and only ELD, I actually liked it for the steady runs I had, an OTR setting, I'd never go for it. I think you'll do fine, and with the job postings Chinatown offers, it's a win-win for you, just do yourself and loved ones a favor,,,get a dash cam.
