    I have some family near there . I don’t know anything about the company though .

    not the other one that’s based in the same town .
    Though the other one moved their offices to Montgomery I think .

    Barnes has on-site trucks (not really terminals, just parking) at the mills and wood yards in Elba and Troy. From what I understand from one of their drivers, pay is decent one week, not so much the next week.

    I’ve never spoken to a Johnston driver but I know they stay busy. I see their dump trucks all of the time. Opportunities to get in to Class A trucks if you want to. I’m not sure how many Class A trucks they have but I know they have some daycabs that pull lowboys, some that pull reefers, and some that pull feed tankers.

    They moved somewhere , I dunno if they even still have a yard in Monroe Ville

    they got bought out by a mega I think ?

    can’t remember the name .
    I do remember they used to have the huge brake lights on the back of their flatbed trailers .
    But that was a while back , don’t think they have those huge brake lights on the trailers anymore .
