In the event of a crash the shoes on or off would be the list of the worries for those, who'd be pulling your body out.
Anybody here who drives bare feet?

I like bare feet on the beach and on the grass. That’s about it. Used to be I couldn’t go to bed without socks on. I also have to have house shoes on indoors. That is kinda weird. Literally to walk 15 feet to refill water glass I slip them on.

And vacuumed daily. 85 lb rough collie. Lassie.
Takes me minutes a day to keep my truck clean. I guess it’s all in your priorities -
Obviously people shouldn't be driving with their bare feet up on the dashboard. But if you know how to drive, whether or not you have shoes on doesn't matter.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Been driving barefoot for over 30 years and never once been asked about it. How many dozens of inspections I have been thru and not once anything said. Even in my heavy haul days. Disconnect RGN neck. Take boots off and coveralls off and move truck
Then redress yes a pain, but my interior wasn’t ####ed up after a few years. Always helped on resale. -
Of course, whatever suits anyone what they are driving with or without inside the cab is just fine, as long as they are safe for the outside world. For me personally, I'd like to not steam my feet more than I have to. Plus, I like to feel whatever I'm interacting with and be as gentle as I can with the equipment which feeds and clothes my family. Dirty, steamy boots do not provide such pleasure.)
