I’m slowly building a Kitty Kat for my 83 K100C. I feel I have a fairly nice library, but don’t have that in my library. Man shipped his personal manual to my door without a 2nd thought. Told me to simply send it back when I’m done…. Top shelf in my opinion….

I have a digital version if you want it. It's not as good as a book, but it's helpful.

    OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this.

Those were ultra rare pre air 10 speeds. The range selector was an extra stick and was linkage operated and some were cable operated on some model trucks. 1-2-3–4-5 with second stick in “L” then put stick in “H” like an air shift range selector. Then shift pattern over again like normal to get 10 out of 5. Also Gave 2 reverse gears plus the brownie.
That was the bridge between a straight 5 speed main and the RT series air shift Road Ranger 10 that came out around 1959-60.
That is some good history to see right there for sure.

Yes, if my calculations are right (wife says I’m not right) :) this gives a total of 8 reverse gears, and 40 forward gears to choose from…..

    Hammer166 and Oxbow Thank this.
