What if it Snows?

A coat hanger can be used to find an underground water pipe. I did it at my house, to find the shutoff by the sidewalk. Bought a Key, turned off the main, and replaced my main shutoff in the basement. I was surprised at how good it actually worked. Magnetic pull from the water itself. Pipes buried 10 ft down. The city frowns on homeowners turning the main off. They charge $20 each trip out. So for about $25, just don’t break the shutoff valve. City will charges Thousands to fix it.

Yesterday at Truckpro, had a Guy looking for a headlight assembly. Said Freightliner Dealer wants $700. He was so angry. Said he only get 5.8 mpg, with a 2017 Cascadia, wished he’d still had his 98 Classic, that got 6 mpg, Other Driver I met at Consignee had a 2019 Cascadia. Paid $139k, started out using Schneider Finance. $2000 dn. Paid $4000 a mo. for the required one year, then he was able to refinance it and get a lower pymt of $2500. Gets 8 mpg. Owes 1 more yr. Truck only has 200k miles.

There’s a 3/4 acre field behind the shop at their disposal, but I guess it’s not convenient enough hence the fat and lazy part
