    Are you doing the grain free thing? Helps cut back on amount of waste.

    Another alternative may be along this line of a stand alone dog poo septic system.
    Common bakers yeast is a viable alternative to septic system starter.

    Once the weather breaks, they do pretty good about going out back. When it’s below zero, they pick the closest place to the door and I really can’t blame them

    It is downright discouraging to chat with these youngsters while going about your own rat killing. I would ignore the .2 mpg dif in his trucks and the other guys payment plan. Pretty stiff payment plan to start, and not improved with the reduction. Stay with your old arn.

    I can do it, problem is I don't know if it is buried wire two feet down or water 1000 ft. down. But I can get two metal rods to cross. Witching is what I have heard it called.

    CRP = Crop Reduction Program.

    Kind of a scam in my mind but I don't blame farmers from taking advantage of it. It just seems wrong for the government to pay not to grow. Then again I guess they pay people not to work too...

    Roughly 25 years or so ago the state of MD decided to start paying farmers not to grow tobacco. It was mostly grown in the southern part of the state. While many farmers did take that buyout, I had others that I’ve delivered to tell me that no other crop paid as much as tobacco did.

    Then there is the famous "Dairy buyout program" from late 80s?

    Devastated the beef man and gave the dairy man a years paid vacation.

    I sound grumpy tonight; maybe this will help. A 10 yr. Single Malt.......... with EXACTLY the right amount of ice! Lol 16462664862454961026587549258879.jpg
