The weather was nice today but it’s currently taining with temperatures dropping to the high teens by daybreak. This will probably cause the consumption of deiceing fluid.

Drink one for me while you’re at it. I ran out over the weekend.

Well, there’s a bit of a paradox that comes with that. Have you ever heard the saying “if you want peace you must prepare for war”?

It basically means if everyone possesses the tools of mass equalization, people tend to be a bit more polite to one another.

I'm curious but know nothing about it. I see them de-icing when it is below freezing when I have flown, but you know that plane is likely to reach freezing temperatures before reaching 30k feet regardless the temp on ground.

I guess the only danger is loosing lift during takeoff? Anyway, do you know the parameters that determine when de-icing is required?

I'm working on clearing the small trees and big bushes in the soon to be house foot print. Still taining a bit much but a good chunk of the bigger wood is down. Not sure if they are wild plum/cherry trees or nut trees but have not seen any crop on them. Unfortunately for them they are where my bedroom should be. "Trunks" are upper arm to thigh sized. Going to dry them over the next year or so and use in the house as flooring. Will move the small branches over to the chipper tomorrow.

Neighbor will be wondering over on the weekend to feed the chipper as I drop the last of this batch.

You have probably mentioned it before, but how deep did they need to go?
