Changed the oil yesterday. First time with the new quick drain. So much easier.

 

Keri just walked out to start the process of getting her name changed with the local Social Security Office. She was told she could do a walk-in, but be ready to spend a long time there. (Sigh) Then she has to get a new Passport, can't fly international routes legally now until this is done. We were able to get her information changed back in Texas via part fax and part emailed PDF files. Keri is going to do a walk-in at the DMV here on Tuesday. I'm starting to feel bad because this is stressing her out. Even her bank wants forms filled out. I will say this. American crew scheduling has been really nice and is working with her. their HR dept has also been nice. An adoption of love would have been good enough. My attorney was clear and precise with their words. Legal adoption was THE ONLY way to make my will listing her as my SOLE HEIR IRONCLAD! Since the legal actions are for the most part over let me tell you I have had to do some things that were to me a bit degrading. Remember I suffer from epilepsy and am on some other medications. My attorney suggested and I agreed with making as a part of my new will filing a court action having a Judge appoint a Guardian Ad Litem for Incapacitated Person, the Judge agreed. This Attorney is in Richmond and put me through something I would not wish on my worse enemy. I had to be examined by a #### shrink AND by my Neurologist and both had to send this (GAL) reports that basically say I am sane. So now if my family want to question my actions as being controlled by Keri after I am gone OR I become mentally Incapacitated this (GAL) can answer in court I was 100% sane when I made the choice to adopt Keri and make her my sole heir! We live in a strange world. However, when you are not married and have no children estate planning can be tough.

 

I did a gasoline load yesterday and a short gas load this morning but then going to Cleveland with deiceing fluid. I’m guessing that hoarding in fear of future price increase is in play.

Moose do you know the deference between an attorney and a prostitute? The prostitute will stop ####ing you out of your money when you are dead. You are old enough to know that when it comes to lawyers nothing is set in stone. But Hay, good luck with that and enjoy your fake eggs and fake coffee today.

 

I had real coffee this morning! Before she left Keri and I had a nice fruit salad for breakfast! This (GAL) in Richmond has been paid and just has all the information on file. When it comes to courts and lawsuits I agree there are no 100% absolutes. All I can do is make my will as secure as I can. Right now with all the billable hours and 4 attorneys I am at close to $10,000 in legal fees. All that is left now is the small fees for getting all these documents changed.
