Hmmmm 2 useless sisters I resemble that remark.

 

I don’t care for that style tile for backsplash which means the females will love it because I’ve been told I have no sense of home decor.

 

The day can not end fast enough!!!!

 

I think I would go with something a shade or 2 darker to add more contrast from the counter tops. Like the shape/size of the tiles. Would Definetally go all the way up to the bottom of the upper cabinets.

I would add some color to the backsplash. Make it pop and breakup the brown that’s on the cabinets and countertop.

 

Anything with smaller tiles will get stuff between the tiles I know you're a cleaner, but you also love BACON and bacon fat particles get deep into grout and between tiles. Go with bigger tiles or a match the overhead vent with a big panel of brushed stainless steel OR the same type of dark glass like the stove top and go all the way up to the vent like a black mirror in the background.

 

I agree I would certainly go to bottom of the cabinets.
