A lot of outlets to work around though.

Too dark for that space. Will suck the light out of the room. Even more so with a matte type finish. Also matte finish is hard to clean.

White tiles with a few accent tiles that match to the color of the counter is one option that would work well. Another option is to go with quartz sheet that has just a bit of the similar color and design of the counter. Going with sheet will have a few seams across the entire span, versus grout lines. The thing is to keep it simple and clean. You have very clean straight lines in the cabinets, the actual counter is the “show” item, Don’t distract from that.

Well two of the females of the species signed off on them before I posted the pic.

    It's just a mock up.

They are going to the bottoms of the cabinets.

None of you have ever seen outlets in tile? Really? The OM is shocked.

You put the outlets in the tile same as in the sheetrock. Outlets and covers will get turned brown.

It's porcelain tile. It's smooth lol.

My tastes are different I admit, but a sheet of stainless or even copper would look cool to me.

    I'll see myself out now.

True. Also I've been meaning to ask @Dave_in_AZ did you spec that many outlets? I hate most kitchens for not having enough, you don't appear to have that issue.

Not me I won the lottery with my two sisters! We are very close meet every week on Mondays for lunch for a family business meeting and for what's going on with the family. Been doing this for over 15 years. One sister looks after the family farm, one looks after the real estate, and I look after the mineral rights and did look after the stocks, but we moved it all to the S&P 500 over 25 years ago. We still do covered call options on it when the market gets crazy for extra income.

We started doing this when one of my sisters went deaf and needs to read lips, she hears better the Cochlear Implants now. Those two old girls are my best friends.

I have a truckload of power. It's a 200 amp main, and I'd say there's in the neighborhood of 15 or so 20 amp circuits for 120 utility power. Maybe even 20 circuits.

My CAT 5 panel for data and entertainment is bigger than my current electrical panel.

Living room is wired for theater sound.

I wanted a copper sink until I saw the price.

    $1,000.
