Truck company sold off all trailers to get out with profit since Hopper prices are outrageous.
I bought a 2021 timpte with front drop axle, tire inflation system, manual tarp ( a plus in my books) 78x 96 for 46k. End up paying 58500 after financing with a company that guys used equipment and leases out with no money down.

I believe they bought all 21 trailers. I told them where they were.
    A big price. About 13% interest but. .. .

    Siinman Thanks this.

You're braver than me. I ran out screaming when I had a 50x78x96 triple axle Timpte quoted last December. They wanted 86k for one with hydraulic traps and disc brakes.

I wish you best of luck
... No money down ..13% interest.. ??...I wasn't aware the Mafia was financing equipment now
JMO .. but I won't be bragging about a financing deal like that
I won't burst your bubble & tell you about how Timpte has had issues with the sub frame cracking

Is that mainly an issue on aluminum frames or steel too?

    Oxbow and markk Thank this.

Iam not sure about the aluminum frames .. seems like everybody in my area run the steel sub frame.
    I'am a odd duck I have a Corn Husker 50' spread axle

    Oxbow and markk Thank this.

Well that's not what I wanted to hear. Been thinking I need to get rid of the hopper anyway once my stepdeck shows up.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Triple is nice but not for what I do. Mine is dual but with front axle a drop.
Trailer I rent now leaks badly, limiting my hauls when raining. So even though paying a big price it is still worth it.
    1500 to rent a 42 x 72.
1270 plus more insurance etc to own 78" with factory warranty still on it and no leaking. Plus vibrators and no beat up hoppers from hauling rocks.
I also found cash and equipment funding from Kapitus. They loan with lots of options if you make around 12 k or more.
I'll be using that. Be some big bill coming up soon , I'm sure

I'am sure you take better care of your hopper than most the farmers I know that have had issues.. I like Timpte trailers if I was going to make my living pulling a hopper Timpte would be my weapon choice
JMO but if you have any thoughts of selling it now is the time.. with Grain prices higher than a giraffe's ### and trailers being hard to find and farmer's walking around with cash in their pockets you could get a premium price
Buy 1 back if you need it in 2 years for .50 on the dollar when Brandon takes a page out of Jimmy Carter's play book and imposes a Grain embargo and Grain prices drop like a bad habit

    Oxbow Thanks this.

It's high. That is personal loan no colatoral interest. But, it is quick, no down payment. They actually bought the trailer, in fact bought all 21 of them when told them where they were. They will lease em out.
It cost me 1500 a month to ten a beat up Hopper. I pay for anything that goes wrong with it. So 1270 a month is still cheaper in long run. 4 years I own it for 1 dollar
My rental would be 72,000 in 4 years.
