    Stanley Black & Decker were building a new Craftsman manufacturing plant in Ft Worth. I don't know if it is operational yet but will supposedly make wrenches, ratchets and sockets. Will be interesting to see if the quality comes back to where Craftsman was back in the day.

    This was my issue with Craftsmen. I was trying to assemble some furniture and had an almost new ratchet stop working. I had no backup. Remember I can't drive. I had to get a ride to the place I bought that ratchet and they said I abused it. NO replacement. That very day I bought my first Snap-On rachet. Today I would not buy Craftsman tools if they gold-plated those #### things. My Craftsman Screwdrivers have held up well. But I will never buy that brand again.
