In all honesty, I don't even know why I still keep handtools. All I really need is a good set of screwdrivers, pair of pliers, an adjustable wrench, a roll of duct tape, and a can of WD-40. I can't drive. The other day I was sitting on a teenager's minibike. I got off it and leaned it on the kickstand. I looked at Keri and said one of these days I'm going to ride that thing!

Back in 1996, I hauled a load of Craftsman from Sheboygan Wi. Remember it well, coldest weather I’ve been in. 58 below wind chill. They were a cheaper version Craftsman to compete with China maybe? Didn’t last long.

Got that beat. Last place my cousin worked as a company driver, his truck had some weird electrical problem no one could solve, 14 trips in and out of the shop. ( Starting cold )

The new guy in the shop discovers the negative cable isn't even hooked up, or finally broke off cause hanging by a strand.

This went on for months. New batteries, tows, multiple jump starts.

Keri just returned from a short trip on post over at Ft Eustis. Was visiting an Army Officer she knows. She said the guy followed her to the post filling station and she paid $3.79 for reg there. Did a fill-up. We is having hamburger steak tonight with some salad and black-eyed peas. Just in case some of you don't know what chow chow is, I have some shipped to me from North Georgia. Got to show this Maryland gal what you put on black-eyed peas.
