Is there a downside to the Eaton Fuller 13 spd tranny?
I've driven them for 2 years now and love the versatility up and down hills. Now I'm starting to think about buying my own truck and based upon my experience, I want one in my rig. Opinions, bad stories, anything?

Eaton-Fuller 13 speed is a GREAT TRANSMISSION. Reliable. I do not know of a down side.

Ditto
They are Great....
Great for the Northwest too !!!!! -
Shift like a 10spd empty, split the tops if you need to. Cheaper than an 18 but still rated for high torque engines. No complaints here.

I have a 13spd in my truck and I love it, wouldn't trade it for any other speed. I would go for it if I had too choose one.

Anyone know if there is any physical difference between the RTLO-18913A and the RTLO-20913A 13spd transmissions?
I know the 18913A is rated for 1850tq and the 20913A is rated for 2050tq. But other than the clutch and price (I'm assuming for warranty) is there any difference. The only other difference I can find is an "external oil filter" on the 20913A.
I'm asking because I may have a C15 reflashed to 625hp and just curious if there are any differences in the transmissions. And before anyone says it warranty isn't an issue. -
I'll be kickin my Super 10 for a 13 just as soon as possible.

I'd say that it's the best otr transmission ever built.Durable and reliable for about all operations.I love mine. 1850trq

i am installing a 13 in my truck now. the 10 gave up the ghost. like someone else said, the best and most useful ratios out there.

Which one are you putting in it?
The only bad side to a 13 spd..... your thumb might get sore if you have to shift alot...lol
