I have done this with mine. Just 2 plugs on the back, as long as it's plugged in it'll read what it's supposed to.

Nope, only programming needed is if you add a gauge you didn't already have. I've got a Pyro in my pickup that I need to install and have the mechanic turn on in the computer.

Ain’t nothing cutesy about it. If I were into travel trailering, or hot shotting, I would like to have an old power wagon longbed with a modern turbo diesel, modern steering and disc brakes, 10 lug wheels, manual transmission and a 3 speed auxiliary pulling one of those old 70s stainless steel travel trailers.
