I run those states almost all the time and always find parking but PA seems to be the one I seem to have some issues but I know a few spots. PA Harrisburg area you might have some issues or end up paying for reserve parking at the TA. Reading area there’s wide shoulder area around pa 183 and there’s a cabelas with truck parking and a dirt lot on pa61 by i78. Allentown area the south bound service plaza near them seems to always be half empty. Scranton? Good luck. Hazleton? There’s a Burger King by the can do expressway that’s near wide road going to a trailer shop you can probably find parking there.

Glad to hear! A lot of folks bash it as just a drive through honey boo boo state on the way to Florida. They can keep on thinking that. Definitely Sweet home Alabama. Always glad to see I- 85 south.

First time I went was a about a month ago to see a good trucking buddy of mine. Would move there in a heart beat. That was originally my plan, but was having some issues verifying some of my work history for a company down there, so had to come back to Utah and let me tell you what....I was not happy in the least bit. Love the small towns, people around actually know each other, the accent.....fell in love with that accent!!

All good. Wonderful wife and son loaded everything I needed in one of the service trucks and my daughter brought it to me. She got there Sunday and I swapped it in the old Ruby Tuesday parking lot.

    Back to rolling Sunday night

Nemesis indeed lol :D Gulf of Mexico....I used to live right on the Gulf. On the seawall in fact in Galveston, Texas. Yeah I hope to get back eventually. Originally was looking at R E Garrison or Arab Cartage. Ever heard of either of those by chance?

I would die to have that accent. Hoping if I get back, I'll eventually get one too!!

Yes, I do love the mountains out here and the abundance of state and national parks. Don't like the cold though, but it could be worse like North Dakota.

I dont know about Arab Cartage but am familiar with RE Garrison, they are up in Cullman Al. I know they do push the lease thing and considered them myself. Had a friend that worked there and he seemed happy, ( he has since passed away from Covid) He would come and go..do the lease a while, turn the truck back in after a year..take a break, then go back and do it all again. I have heard mixed reviews about RE on this board. Seems they have plenty of frieght..I got them on my next company list. U might also check Dolphin Line down near Mobile, Buddy Moore trucking up near Birmingham, Davis Trucking near Dothan, heard pretty good about those also. Wiley Sanders is another, they are based out of Troy..a bit shady in my opinion but some love them. Yes the accent will definitely rub off on you quick..
