Who came up with the idea for csa anyway. Record low wreck #,s and we get this. I bet the cat is driving drunk right now, with a burnt out head light, mirror broke off, muffler dragging, with loose tie rods and talking to his boy friend on his cell phone, cutting trucks off right now.

We have so many options available to us...most all the regular restaurants are gone, and what do truck stops offer...McD, Taco Bell, Carls, and the weight reduction Subway..but how many subs can you take day in and day out?

I really doubt the choices of the other style restaurants were that healthy either prior to the fast food.

However, these guys make a log book that requires the driver to be unhealthy. There is no way to waste some time to take a walk after eating. In fact, there are times, eating is a major time problem.

Go back and really look at some of the police officers. They eat healthy?

You are so right on that one...like the motor cop (300 plus pounds) who looks bigger than his little scooter looking bike next to him!

Or the cop that can't get out from behind the wheel of his cruiser due to the balloon flopping over his utility belt?

Holy bubble boy Batman...is that a cop or the Michelin tire rubberman in a uniform?:biggrin_255:

Now just take it easy there Roadmedic...I happen to love my deep fried pre-processed chicken fried steak with lots of mashed potatoes and country gravy! You mean it isn't good for me to overindulge?

In my humble opinion...no ticket is ever right!

Now if we really wanted to save some money, eliminate the clogging of our courts and jails...anybody failing a "field sobriety test" should just be shot right on the spot! In 3-6 months, we would have room in our CA prisons to compete for the Federal buy out of a prison or two and have room for the Gitmo gang!:yes2557:

IMO, Big Brother is going above and beyond the call of duty! I have had High blood Pressure for years. It runs in my family. HELL, half of Black America(don't call me no African:disgust:) has Hypertension ! years and years of HOT WATER CORN BREAD, HAWG MAWS AND CHITTERLINGS (yuk!) Will clog up them Arteries.
But for the government to tell ME I have to be at certain weight in order to drive a truck, sounds like we are moving from a Democracy to a DICtatorship!
I am 5'9, 216 lbs. could I stand to lose some weight ? Yeah a little. am I going to? maybe but not what the Gestapo is mandating! What happens if I was a bodybuilder? on season he would weigh in at 245/250 with a BMI of maybe 22% or less all muscle. Now of season, he would blot up retain water and blow up to 300lbs. would this person be unfit to drive a truck? according to this stupid mandate he would be, WELL past his mandated BMI!
Now for those individuals that, well shall we say "FREAKIN HUGE"!!!! you know the one, has sweat pants on and a very small t-shirt that is not covering his/her belly? Yall know whom I'm talking about. the one walking/waddeling out of the pilot as I type this with a bag of wendy's in their hand. these individuals are a risk to themself.
    But as I stated IMO!

They never said you would be disqualified because of weight . They are recommending drivers with high BMI be tested for sleep apnea . I disagree with the testing criteria and think there will be a lot of expensive , unnecessary testing .
