Yahtzee!!! So, that's right, he isn't getting an identifiable fsc!? It's just, the rate has to be high enough that people will pull it with $5.50 fuel. He didn't lie to me. Well, that's good. Thank you.

No, not contracted rates. As I said, it could be any of those brokers I mentioned. He never knows what he's going to come up with.

The FSC is usually the first money to go missing out of a load when you’re dealing with freight pimps. That’s part of their profit margin. You don’t think they want to give that to the guy paying for the fuel do you?

If all your running is broker freight then almost all brokers pay flat rates with no FSC included. In my opinion I doubt he’s lying at all.

Now, the broker may be getting it depending on how he bills the customer, but that doesn’t mean it goes to the truck. Rates have slowed depending on where you run and what you pull.

Hub Group is the only broker that comes to mind that pays FSC but frankly it’s all flat rate still they just break it down like that.

Id try for more money, I pay 65 cents per the odometer and on w2. But, I’m also in a hot area for trucking so that makes a difference where you are and what you pull.

If you are paid by the mile why worry about his fuel costs?
