Yeah, I do because I have the space for them and they don't weigh anything....really. the other guys I know just don't have or want to make the room. The idea of turning down a load over something so trivial is a hard concept for me. So I carry them.

Weight was never the issue for me. Like you said, storage. Yes i own the truck n trailer, but i just dont need to make a new rack and mount it and while light, i prefer carrying less regardless, if i could ditch my coil racks in favor of the reitenour triangular blocks id do it in a heartbeat, but no, some places are suicide only

To me, half of surviving in this business is flexibility. We have had really good times for a while now. So folks didn't need to be flexible. However, imo, those days are coming to an end. So, the more variety and flexibility you have the better. Imo of course. Heck, I carry 5 sets of coils racks and can count on one hand how many times I used them last year. Same with my pipe stakes and v-boards. However, they're there if I need them. I even spent stupid money on j-track hook...things. I had a few and bought like 6 more I think. I used them like twice last year. However, I really think times are gonna get tough. So I stuck them I my cabinet with the others. If I need them, I got them. If not, o'well.

Fair enough, im just more minimalist, i figure if times are rough enough i can pull things outta the storage corner instead of leaving em on the trailer/truck all the time. Case in point, my oversize stuff, maybe 2 times a year it might be nice to have it it seems, but also i usually have a q week advance notice so i just run through the house and grab it then

You gotta do what works for you. I'm not saying my way is the only way. It just works for me and that's what I care about.

Experience says to expect that any bag load will be a bit more than the shipper says for 2 main reasons.
#1 the load may or may not count the pallet weight, some were between 35 and 70 pounds each depending if they are softwood or hardwood and construction.
#2 when they fill bags the machine stops at x pounds and then there is a light trickle of product as the valve closes. most bags are up to a 1/4 pound more than stated on the bag so a 44k load can be 44.5k or more on the pallets.

Yellowstone elk hide — they sell irregulars online and they wear like iron — discovered them in my rod busting days

Got a thorough level 1 in Minnesota today, first time they've ever checked me for red dyed fuel. He actually sat in my driver's seat while I pulled my glad hands, that was a first too. Nice older fella though... No complaints really.
