Oil field gear is a little more substantial than that. One of the big bed trucks with poles would probably pick up a 1200sq/ft bungalow while you slid a beam under it.
Considering going to texas to haul sand as a company driver.

The thing you wont fidn again is the less than 40hrs a week fir good pay
Dont think I have seen that one
How about a 20 hr a week side hustle business that eventually might turn into something?
Any other skill sets you have or would like to acquire ?Another Canadian driver and Moneyhungrytrucker Thank this. -
Check other reefer outfits if you want to live in your truck. You can do a lot better than 70k. With your good record, you should be able to get 60 CPM or better, plus accessory pay and bonuses.

If you look at his hourly income due to him only working 35 hours, He is earning as much per mile or per hour as a guy making 140k for working a 70 hr week.
I feel its more important to focus on hourly than weekly pay since a 35hr work week leaves him plenty of time to build other income streams that could end up being passive income and real wealthAnother Canadian driver and Moneyhungrytrucker Thank this. -

A week.
Sure you are, were not all stupid.
That's just as crazy as you thinking your gonna
Make 3 grand a week hauling frac sand.
That's was 20 years ago.
The smartest thing you said was you wanted to live
In the truck in the oilfield.
But it's obvious you have no idea what kind
Of junk is in the oilfield.
You would kill for one of those ragged out
Container trucks over what they got.
Living in the truck will save you embarrassment of being evicted
When you get the pink slip without warning.
That's how it is the oilfield.
Yes im in Texas,
Yes I worked in the oilfield,
Yes I've had many friends work in the oilfield,
And no, none of us have ever went back after the first time.
You have no idea what you'd be getting into.
It doesn't matter what they pay,
What matters is who has the contracts.
You think there's trash companies
Out on the road.
You ain't seen nothing.
The oilfield is overflowing with fly by night,
Cutthroat Worthless companies.
You wont even know it until hop into
That busted up truck that they don't care to fix.
Stay where your at. Save yourself the headacheAnother Canadian driver, LoneRanger, DRTDEVL and 6 others Thank this.
