Guess I’ll leave my phone call to the POE in Sundance for the morning… rain is a coming.

 

28" is the perfect length. Let's you get through the vast majority of timber. Plus, you can limb without really bending over. Ive used longer and shorter, but for a Firewood saw, 28" is where it's at for me.

You gonna take it apart and fix it? Maybe try and pressurize the tank?

 

That looks heavy just looking at it.

 

I tell ya once you get the ends of the pile lined up, one of those old saws with a 48" bar makes quick work of it.

 

So I bit the bullet and spent a few bucks on mountain bike tools. Who'd have thought that something as simple as a slight twist in a deraileur hanger would totally F up shifting in every gear? That hanger alignment tool has already paid for itself. Just have to bleed my front brakes and I'm ready for the season.

Great weekend here. Loaded the van with the kayaks and raft this morning. Took my youngest rafting and kayaking today for her 22nd birthday, and my son was married yesterday.

 

It was busy.
