I said i would do this a few days ago but things came up...this will be long so get out the popcorn.
Well crap it won't let me do a full breakdown because it to long. Over 10,000 so I'll have to break it up into smaller ones...
#1
They do have 4,000 PLUS 20,000 trailers... flatbed, step deck, super vans and vans. do they need more yes BUT the reason they don't is because ALOT of bco's have their own.. they are maintained about the same as most other companies... if bco's don't tell them they need fixed how would they know... after all they're not psychic...
1st dot/fmcsa requires all trucks running under landstar dot number to provide landstar a list of all maintenance and repairs... this is required if landstar is Audited by dot/fmcsa....
2nd landstar has zero required service that needs to be done EVER.... I just did my 120 day maintenance report 1st of the month. The only thing that change is the form..
When you are a company EMPLOYEE your employer is REQUIRED by federal tax law to send a copy of your w2 to the irs..... well guess what Poindexter that same tax law REQUIRES landstar to send the irs a copy of your 1099. It's not voluntary and has nothing to do with any bank.....!!
Question for you... which 1 do you work under...??

i worked for 1 of the companies you listed both as a company driver and as a 0/0 and I'll be nice and say you are wrong
They don't have 1100 bco's but as of 2 weeks ago they have 12,000.
They do have 4,000 PLUS 20,000 trailers... flatbed, step deck, super vans and vans. do they need more yes BUT the reason they don't is because ALOT of bco's have their own.. they are maintained about the same as most other companies... if bco's don't tell them they need fixed how would they know... after all they're not psychic...
how so....? And you used the word "driver"... that tells every 0/0 how you think..... wrongly....
Well if you weren't acting like a little boy and need to be lead around by the hand and spoon fed you wouldn't be treated like a little boy.... i have always been professional and have always been treated Respectfully..
2 things
1st dot/fmcsa requires all trucks running under landstar dot number to provide landstar a list of all maintenance and repairs... this is required if landstar is Audited by dot/fmcsa....
2nd landstar has zero required service that needs to be done EVER.... I just did my 120 day maintenance report 1st of the month. The only thing that change is the form..
Did you literally just fall off the turnip truck and hit your head on a rock....??
When you are a company EMPLOYEE your employer is REQUIRED by federal tax law to send a copy of your w2 to the irs..... well guess what Poindexter that same tax law REQUIRES landstar to send the irs a copy of your 1099. It's not voluntary and has nothing to do with any bank.....!!
total lie.... 1st Food IS NOT predominately what vans do, if your doing alot of it it's because that is what you picking to do..... in 4 1/2 years I've done 2 and only 2... 1 was a load of Similac The other was a load of Ensure and neither went to a Grocery warehouse.
kinda like good cops and bad cops... good Mechanics and bad mechanics... good people and bad people so your point would be what...? That not all of them are great..
Well you could just press 3 buttons on the app "unavailable"....!!
right now your tracked thru your elog AND the trailer gps yet somehow you have a problum with ch Roberson doing the same thing.....?? BTW companies like the ones you listed don't have computer access to landstars tracking software..... but ya you adding about 1 min to turn on the app.....!
ya it UNSAFE and you have a problem with that...... most companies have the same policy if you read the handbook it's just landstar ENFORCES IT....
somewhat true BUT they also have alot of direct customers..... except for the covid lock down every load I've pulled in the last 3 1/2 years has never been on any loadboard but landstar...
total Masculine Bovine ficle matter... on 4 1/2 years NEVER BEEN TO MANDATORY safety class....
which landstar.....?? Their are more than 3 all have different safety scores and pull in rates....
Question for you... which 1 do you work under...??
that is up to you..... and as a business owner part of YOUR JOB is to manage YOUR MONEY... I run 6 loads a week and load my fuel card 3x NOT every load....
true untrue... partial load and accessorals are load (up to 51%) on the FUEL CARD... THE SETTLEMENT care is just that. Your paycheck is loaded on it.... you partial and accessonals can be loaded on it IF YOU WISH also IF YOU WISH you can use it for your fuel card that way you only really need 1 card. total lie t
all landstar web pages and apps all use the same user name and password not a different 1 for each.... and yes comdata uses a different user name and password because they are not part of landstar... so not the 5 passwords you claimed but 2....
transflo IS NOT REQUIRED, it's quicker..... you can mail or use direct scan as well...
a couple of lies.... 1 your not required to buy any locks IF you have a kingpin lock and a high security door lock.... 2 NOT $276. try $125 -$175 depending on if you want the warlock or enforcer
never did any fingerprints with landstar really a recruiter that doesn't know everything.... I don't know about you but I'm in shock....
what you didn't plan on rhat.... you didn't go out and get a 3-7day trip permit......? I walked out of orientation with my plate in my hand..Click to expand...
