After a second look and some magnification, you might be right....but to be honest, it is out of focus. LOL

Contemplating my return to the road. Was asked if I'd be uncomfortable in a truck after 4 years off the road, and said, well, when I was off for 2 years for the paralyzed dog and the wife's knee replacement, I didn't feel like I'd missed much after getting reacclimated which is natural, so..may be going out sooner than I expected, but once out, then I'll have to focus on passing the DOT physical and renewing the license, Hazmat and TWIC within the next few months. May be seeing you folks soon, but as the guy said, no East or West Coast, so it should be easy driving. :)

That car is a world beater right off the showroom floor. The problem with that type of car is that the overwhelming majority of people do not possess the skill to drive that car anywhere near it’s limits. I’m not telling you anything that you already don’t know. Thing is, if you can’t drive that car now, a blower would be lethal. If you master that car bone stock, you should easily be able to destroy cars with much bigger power on a road course. And have stupid fun too.

I mentioned Nelson’s Ledges because some friends and I rented that track. It shouldn’t be too far from you. Fast, sort of tricky with a decreasing radius carousel and a double apex turn leading to the front straight. 500 HP should get you north of 160 in a mile. Stupid fast!

There should be an auto-x event in your area that you can get involved in. About as grassroots as they come. You should be able to get your foot in the door with the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America). And then you could do their track events. THEN, get the blower
